This happens after Mário Alberto Viegas, the "last ethicist" as I called him, had approached the "dignity" issue from the Human Rights' point of view.The anguish of the successive armed conflicts and the shame of the violence caused by the enormous gap between, hypothetically, the richest and the poorest Mozambican, constitute the backdrop from which the questions about morality on mutual coexistence and the consequent search for its foundation gain meaning. It is in the search for the recovery of lost humanity, in the coexistence among Mozambicans, that the utopia of the good-(con)living where Mozambican philosophy finds its vocation.
