Musa sapinthum (Family Musaceae) known as''Banana'is the most delicious fruit,used as raw material in industries for preparing Banana powder, chips, juices & beer. Banana has no fat, cholesterol or sodium. It helps in regulating blood pressure & reduces constipation due to laxative property. Banana powder is helpful in treating combat diarrhea, dysentery,stomach ulcer & malnutrition in children. Grand Nain is the most accepted international variety of Banana having tall plant with long cylindrical bunch.
