O knihe
The excitement of both laborers and companies alike at the idea of new opportunities can quickly become a nightmare and financial debacle if both parties failed to understand and address the unique needs of their situation. Companies who employ international labor both skilled and non-skilled have long ignored the specific needs required to obtain the best return on their investment. The financial costs are enormous and the lack of resources allocated to reduce it is virtually non-existent. In addition to the financial cost, the biggest concern is the abuse of human capital; reality for international workers is daunting and grim at times. The are required to face all the professional challenges any other worker entering the work force face, and are also placed in a position where the social, and cultural differences sometimes take precedence due to their overwhelming nature. It is important for companies to acknowledge the missed opportunities in their organizations, and for workers to understand the limitations they will face should they decide to move in the current environment. This book intends to start the conversation about the real cost of international labor.
