O knihe
The drug abuse has become a throat-wrenching problem in Indian society with the growing population, changing lifestyles, socioeconomic conditions and other extraneous trends. As per various news reports procuring drugs is becoming as easy grabbing chocolates or mint, in India. The cause of youth's drug/substance use is multifactorial, but media is playing a predominant role in keeping them connected with the thoughts of drug/substance consumption in various other means. Especially the convergence of Internet and Music albums with special genres is creating a new scope to the youngsters to get more entrapped into the drug world. Identifying and measuring these interconnected effects are becoming tougher and challenging day by day to the society as well as to governments to tackle the issue. In this context, the current book aims at analyzing how the Internet, Music Albums of certain genres and its Convergence are impacting the drug consumption among youngsters living in Anand, an educational hub in the state of Gujarat in India.
