O knihe
When three pairs (Menai Strait - Gwynedd, Skomer MNR - Cardiff, L'Estartit - Barcelona) and the result of the hypothesis were considered, a conclusion appeared like that: a) High turbidity (i.e. the Menai Strait) could not be explained by only wind speed, there had to be other factors. The Menai Strait had much more particles than wind in Gwynedd could spin them together with constant tide. Therefore, this high wind speed spinned only the top layer of water but there were still particles at the bottom. In fact, those spinned particles together with the one at the bottom made the strait highly turbid. b) Moderate turbidity (i.e Skomer MNR) could be driven by moderate wind. With the presence of enough amount of particles, wind speed in Cardiff had enough energy to spin them together with tide and thus caused moderate turbidity. c) Clear sea water (i.e. L'Estartit) could not be explained by wind speed. Even higher wind than expected in Barcelona could not cause turbidity due to insufficient amount of particles. As a result, wind can not cause turbidity without suspended particles in water but enough amount of wind can make water having enough amounts of particles turbid.
