Invocation of Set is a compilation of drawings made by visual artist André Harke. The drawings are organized into 3 sections: Ka (the metaphysical remanifestation of the Self), Sekhem (pulling down the essence of gods into the physical, natural realm), and Akh (the Self that rises to the company of the gods, as a being who shares their essence). As such, the collection also represents an inner Invocation of Set that has been ongoing for 13 years of André's work. The transformation of the Self through acquiring conscious access to hidden parts of the Self so that it becomes in its essence like the gods is a process that permeates all facets of life. Therefore, the visual art presented in this volume also displays all facets of André's being.
