There is no static definition for Job satisfaction. Every researcher, philosopher defines Job Satisfaction in their own ways as it depends upon multiple factors. One definition could be, a fulfillment of an employee desires from their job. Job satisfaction can be fulfilled by having job stability, career growth, favorable working condition, job security, freedom, relationship with colleagues and superiors, promotion and their salary, autonomy, fairness in the workplace, appreciation of their merits. If these factors are achieved for an employee, he/she can be job satisfied. Psychoneurosis are minor mental disorder characterized by inner struggles and disturbed social relationship. Psychoneurosis is not a disease its a symptom. Two essential features of psychoneurosis are that they are precipitated by emotional stresses, conflicts and frustrations and that they are most effectively treated by psychological techniques. They are not produced by physical disorders and do not respond to routine medical attention. Both Job satisfaction and Psychoneurosis are related to emotion. Job satisfaction is "positive emotional response" and Psychoneurosis is "disturbing emotional symptom".
