Freeman is dreaming of success as a reggae musician when he stumbles into a Washington, D.C., alley and finds two men who'd killed each other moments earlier. As he starts to run, a green package catches his eye. He takes the package home and finds that it contains heroin worth over a million dollars. His girlfriend, Simone, convinces him to overcome his fear and sell the drugs.
Meanwhile, in Miami, Tommy, the package's rightful owner, is battling unacknowledged bipolar disorder and worrying about the whereabouts of his parcel.
