Is there a hierarchical relationship between domestic and international courts in the protection of human rights? In theory, the relationship between domestic and international courts is ordered. In practice, this order is often disrupted by the questioning of decisions emanating from international jurisdictions, and vice versa. The truth is that national and international courts have basically the same objectives.
