In Cameroon, jurisprudence is an indirect source of law insofar as the judge's decision is subordinated to the respect of the law. However, there are cases where the law is imprecise. And consequently, it cannot regulate everything. It is therefore up to the judge to use his or her wisdom in order to state the law.
