O knihe
This book is concerned with the studying of the Lorentz force effect on various types' gaseous plasma flows in unsteady state. This happen by amended the collision terms in the the BGK model of Boltzmann kinetic equations where new accurate formulas of the electron-electron, electron-ion, electron-neutral, ion-electron, ion-ion and ion-neutral collision frequencies are presented. The book introduced a new procedure to determine the equilibrium time exactly for gaseous plasma using the properties of the non-equilibrium distribution functions. Systems of linear and non-linear partial differential equations for various gaseous plasmas in different situations near oscillating or near moving rigid planes are solved. The kinetic and the irreversible thermodynamic properties of the gaseous plasma are illustrated from the molecular viewpoint that has many useful applications especially in Nano-Technology. The ratios between the different contributions of the internal energy changes are predicted. The results are applied to a typical model of laboratory argon, helium, neon, and xenon plasmas and its mixtures. Since a plasma is any ionized gas, the applications are numerous and amazing.
