O knihe

Since the 1990s, organic agriculture has been growing in France, although the increase has not been linear over the last two decades. In France, however, AB is far from the target of 6% for 2012. Today, the conversion to reconcile with AB increases agricultural production seems to be a major challenge for its development and sustainability. Conversion has induced changes in crop rotation practices and rotations (Lamine et al 2009). According to the literature, there is a trend that conversion to organic agriculture is usually accompanied by a change in land use. It is precisely the purpose of this study to focus on the evolution of the temporal organization of crops during the transition to organic farming in the agricultural context of the Poitou-Charentes region. This study was carried out within the framework of the ANR (National Research Agency) "DynRurABio". Through the study of a land use database and the construction of farm surveys, this study presents the changes in land use in the region.
