There is no uniform understanding of women's and gender education. From today's perspective of educational science, the fact is that more than three quarters of the students are female. Looking at other countries, gender studies are often interdisciplinary and have a participation of educational science. Gender studies show the importance of social gender in the theoretical discussion. It is about gender identity, socialization instances, fields of work and gender relations.
