The author has provided description and illustration of the larger foraminifera of the Eocene - Oligocene part of the succession of Cutch, India, which is the type area of Tertiary succession in India. This monograph contains those larger foraminifers which are stratigraphically important and highly dominant and rock forming. To keep the length of the monograph within the acceptable limits, the author has been selective in the number of species which could be identified by oriented, split and good rock sections.
