As you study the word of God and learn to love unconditionally according to the scriptures it will leave no room for selfishness which devours many marriages today. Ephesians 5:25 says husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church, and gave himself up for it. This scripture lets us know that in order to have a marriage Gods way you cannot be selfish, you must think of yourself less.
