O knihe
Is it possible to use fiction films in association with Mathematics problems to develop students' interest? This book, the result of a master's thesis, seeks to analyze the interest of Basic Education students in solving mathematical problems associated with the use of cinematic fiction in the classroom. The theoretical framework was supported by Problem Solving, Interest, Semiotics and Fiction, with the contribution of authors such as Dewey, Polya, Santaella, Peirce, Modro and Napolitano, seeking to trace the possible relationships between the highlighted themes, their applications and uses in teaching and also, its evolution. It shows the role that a fiction film can play in a Mathematics class, whether as a motivator for Mathematics, or as an introducer or assistant in the development of content, in other words, as a contextualizer for creating mathematical problems. Recommended for teachers in training, teachers working in schools, as inspiration for differentiated practices.
