Women and children are the most vulnerable group of population during disaster. They need more attention in comparison to men when it comes to rescue and relief. Media plays a vital role during disasters. They provide news and coverage from the affected areas to the general population and also to the authorities who can act in response. A major earthquake hit central Nepal on 25 April 2015 followed by strong aftershock on 12 May 2015.The content about the disaster was dutifully covered by national and international media. Likewise the contents related to women and children were also covered. So, this paper studies the coverage of women and children contents during Nepal earthquake and its aftermath in two English national dailies to study the space given to women and children contents. It uses the method of content analysis to compare the content of women and children published in The Kathmandu Post and The Rising Nepal during the period of 48 days starting from 26 April to 12 June 2015. The study found that The Kathmandu Post provided more space to the contents of women and children in comparison to The Rising Nepal during the period of the study..
