This study focuses on Microsatellite instability, MSI and CpG Island Methylator Phenotype CpG CIMP in colorectal cancer CRC and the evaluation of the relationship between the MSI and CIMP with subtypes of macrophages and its integration with CRC. It also focuses on how it is integrated with tumour features. Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) M2-like phenotype associated with worse prognosis. The infiltrating M1 macrophages were significantly associated with an improved prognosis in a tumour stage-dependent manner.
