The monograph by Professor Kuzhanova A.J. presents a socio-philosophical analysis of the essence of education as a social phenomenon and the institute, reveals its importance as a mechanism of social reproduction. Evolution of education from antiquity to the present time is shown, historical types of education are characterized, its 3-level structure that provided it with completeness and efficiency is revealed. The modern crisis of education is analyzed, its reasons are revealed and the forecast of its prospects is given. The approach to the solution of social problems of education - methodology of interaction of social subjects (personality, society, the state) having in it the interests is proved.
