O knihe
Mycorrhiza is the symbiotic association between the host plant and the fungus. It is the oldest and important known association in the pre-history of earth. In the soil rhizosphere, the signaling process between the host plant the fungus present near it was done by some bacteria which are helpful for the symbiotic association are called as Mycorrhizal Helper Bacteria (MHB). The fungi drawn in in the symbiosis are not a monophyletic entity and relations may engage any of four different fungal phyla. The symbioses are generally classed as either arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) or ectomycorrhizal (EM) and the different types are defined by both the taxonomy of the fungi as well as the structures formed by the fungi and the hyphal growth formed around plant roots (Smith & Read 2008). Mycorrhizal helper bacteria increase the root fungal association and helps in plant health, productivity, stress tolerance for the plant etc.
