This book provides a detailed insight on doped oxyapatite-type lanthanum silicate nanophosphors were successfully synthesized by a low temperature solution combustion method by using low temperature , structural characterizations and photoluminescence properties of rare earth ions doped La10Si6O27 phosphors. Photoluminescence (PL) properties of La10Si6O27: RE3+ for NUV excitation was studied in order to investigate the possibility of its use in display applications. Characterization studied XRD, TEM, DRS, FTIR and also Photocatalytic, Electrochemical and sensors applications were studied.
