Nicolas's Testamenta Vetusta, vol. I. P. 197, contains a short extract from his will in the Prerogative Court, and the Editor says, It is probable this Sir Richard Arundel was related to the Earls of that name, but his will does not afford suffi cient information to connect him with that family. In p. 150 Of the same work is the will of Sir William Arundel his brother, with this note, There is some dith culty in ascertaining the relationship between this Sir William Arundel and the Earls of Arundel, stating at the same time the probability of his being of the family from the internal evidence afforded by the will.
