Onion crop responded well in terms of growth, yield and net profit to treatment T1 (RDF100:80:80kg NPK/ha) fallowed by T13 (Varmi compost @ 2.5 t/ha + Seed treatment + Bijamrit+ irrigation with Jevamrit+ foliar spray of Panchgavya + Varmi wash). Onion pre and post harvest observation was significantly affected due to various treatments of inorganic, organic and biological sources of nutrient. The treatment T1 (RDF100:80:80kg NPK/ha) exhibited maximum values which found at par with T13 (Varmi compost @ 2.5 t/ha + Seed treatment + Bijamrit+ irrigation with Jevamrit+ foliar spray of Panchgavya + Varmi wash) and T3 (50% RDF + VC@5t /ha) and recorded statistically superior from T14 ie farmer practice. It is revealed from the data obtained that a significantly marketable bulb yield differed among the treatments. The T1 (35.04 t/ha) produced maximum marketable yield followed by T3 (33.98 t/ha) and T13 (33.36 t/ha). While, the minimum marketable yield was recorded in the treatment T14 (16.44 t/ha). Treatment T12 (RDF100:75:50kg NPK/ha) was recorded highest net return of Rs 3,68,970/ha along with cost benefit ratio 1: 5.76.
