In the new liberalized scenario, where multinationals and other global players are competing in the domestic market, the management of organizations is expected to be more productive and efficient for survival. Stiff competition, innovation and research have become keys for the growth and development of 21st century organizations. Agro- based Industry is one of the key sectors of India and it is known fact that significant percentage of the people in India have depended on survival of this Industry. A cascade of changing business structures, and changing leaderships in this Industry, like others, had forced to focus on customer, mission and primarily on productivity. For facing the said tough environment, organizations need to create favorable organizational climate, so that employees can be satisfied from the jobs and be effective. In this context, the author has made an attempt to study how various factors of organizational climate correlates with job satisfaction in four Agro- based organizations situated in Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India. The findings of the study indicate the favorable organization climate enhanced job satisfaction.
