In the monograph the basic problems of physics of the Earth's interiors are formulated and analyzed. The new 1D reference model of the Earth with transversal symmetry STW105 is examined, which is the up-to-date alternative of the model PREM. The 3D tomography models and regional seismic models of the upper mantle are as well expounded.
