Biofuels are answer to problems related to energy security, greenhouse gas emissions and sustainable development. Liquid biofuels such as lignocellulosic-based ethanol and biodiesel are obtained from variety of biofuel plants which provide renewable clean energy for future generations. Depending on climate and soil conditions, different nations are looking for suitable biofuel plants. Apart from traditional biofuel crops there are many tree species which bear seeds rich in oil and can be used as source of biofuel.
