Her friend, Mark, also comes from an abusive home. Together, they see each other through with their friendship. Skip is the passionate caseworker who takes on the mission of protector of children, endeavoring to restore families. It's through his eyes we get a better understanding and the grander scope of the epidemic of child abuse, which reports at least 4- 5 children a day die from.
