The main aim of Pediatric dentist is to preserve the dental arch in its functions during childhood. Maximum attempts must be made to preserve primary teeth in a healthy state until normal exfoliation occurs. The fundamental objectives of paediatric pulp therapy are maintenance of the treated tooth as a dental arch unit until exfoliation and sustain its vitality. Pulpotomy is a standard procedure to amputate the inflamed and infected dental coronal pulp tissue and is undertaken when coronal pulp tissues are exposed.
