O knihe
The connection between moral development and good ethical judgement has long been linked to education. Although research has proven a correlation between the level of education a person completes with the level of Kohlberg's higher stages of Moral Development, there is currently a lack of traning models specifically focused on raising individuals ability to make and act upon solid ethical decisions. This book outlines a model that is used to train counselors and psychologists. Rest's Defining Issues Test is used to measure the effectiveness of the training in raising the moral development level of the participants. The Defining Issues Test (DIT) uses Kohlberg's Stages of Moral Development to measure participants' level of moral functioning. This book includes: A review of the literature surrounding ethical training models; Presents two different ethical decision making models; An outline of a traning model along with handouts and lesson plans; a description of the statistics used and the results of the training model when used to train master's level counselors in training. Suggestions for further study concludes the book.
