The purpose of this study was to learn the perception of physical education teachers about the school inclusion of students with special educational needs (SEN) in schools in the municipality of Manaus that have multifunctional resource rooms. The survey data were collected by means of a questionnaire among the population, which was composed of 132 physical education teachers who were distributed in 52 schools in the public basic education system in the municipality of Manaus, State of Amazonas, and who presented the modality of special education with a multifunctional resource room. The data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics and the conclusions obtained can contribute to: the development of public policies related to the social actors in question, facilitate the teacher-student-community school relationship, a better professional development, the educational service, as well as physical education.
