This book traces the socio-economic, health, and political challenges that influence the education of Malian refugee children in Ouallam, Niger. Therefore, this research consists of studying the school integration of Malian refugee children in Ouallam, Niger. The research methods (quantitative and qualitative) used in this study allowed us to collect data from the actors involved (children, parents, NGO agents, teachers, and government representatives) and to answer the question ofhow these children integrate the Nigerien school system. They enter the system with both extra- and intra-school difficulties. Those who drop out of school are exposed to risks and put the population at risk. Through actions, the educational partners try to bring contributions to the children. Although they are facing difficulties, they and the partners perceive education as a factor that can guarantee them a better tomorrow.
