Hormonal contraceptive methods had a negative effect on the female sexual function, especially their desire, as assessed by using female sexual function index while the others domains (arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction and pain) did not reported any significant differences. This negative effect increase by increasing the duration of using hormonal contraceptive methods, there are many factors that influence this negative effects as frequency of intercourse, pain suffering during or after sexual intercourse, circumcision status, type of housing and women educational level.
