The book is a research level exposition of what have been considered as some innovative approach of well known ring and near- ring theoretic notions such as additive structure of rings or modules, the notion of fractions in a very generalized settings, and one very interesting and elegant concept viz., the wreath sum of near-rings. Near-ring groups and wreath sums are some difficult areas where not a great deal of work being done. For the researchers there is ample scope for work in this very fertile area of research. Hope, through this book the researchers along this area will be benefited at least up to some level. In this work we show that the world of ring theory strongly bids its admirers and serious students to embark upon a conscientious and detailed adventure into the world of near-ring. As a result, one sees that the ideas and structures of each provide insight and influence upon the other. Here our main task would be to study near-rings and near-ring groups with various types of structure theoretic characters.
