Sophia includes sibling rivalry, apathy due to an unwed pregnancy. She drops out of high school and becomes this terrible, ungrateful person in the eyes of her family. Her parents reminded her often of the terrible shame she had brought upon them and that she would not amount to anything. People in the community talked about her horrible shame Sophia had brought to her family.
Sophia's life becomes a total disaster. Later she decides to make some positive changes in her life. As she begins to think positive, her outlook on life and situations changes. She finds ways to correct some of the mistakes she made and feels that because she is making her parents proud of her and at the same time, making herself happy.
She meets a man and has an adulterous affair. She faces many heartaches and disappointments as a result of this relationship. The man is her everything and she has great hopes of becoming his wife. Her friends warn her that that this relationship is headed no where but she can't see it and avoids them because she doesn't want to hear negative things about her relationship with him. Later she realizes her friends are right and attempts to change the situation.
Sophia experiences illness and death in her family. She doesn't know how to handle either of them. However, by this time, Sophia meets the man of her dreams and he is right by her side through these difficult ordeals. Being involved with a man that loves only her has changed her entire outlook on life. She fulfills some of her greatest dreams as a result of meeting this man. The good fairy has finally waved her magic wand and Sophia's life has changed for the better.
