This present book has as its general objective the elaboration of a long-term strategic planning for Carimbu, an association located in Sumé, Paraiba State, Brazil, which operates in the production of final agro-industrial products derived from umbu. In view of this, during the course of the work, diagnoses of the internal and external environment were made, the formulation of strategic objectives, corporate and functional strategies, and action plans to achieve the established objectives by using the 5W2H tool, and control to verify whether the strategic objectives are being successfully achieved.
