Maize processing industries is amongst one of the major industrial sector of the world. The basic purpose of this work is to provide grounds for better understanding of the OH&S issues in maize industry. Hazards recognition, evaluation and controls are also included in main objectives of this work. In the interviews and surveys it came to know that company had key focus on the safety and health of their employees as safe and healthy environment leads to greater efficiency of both the employees and the company. For every aspect of safety including chemical safety, electrical safety, Laboratory safety and physical safety etc., company was providing their employees a complete policy for their safety. During study OSHA-USA and NEQS standards were followed. It was noticed that noise, temperature, relative humidity and illumination levels do not follow the standards in some plant in wet starch section. Noise level being in range of 80-95 dBA against 85 dBA, illumination level is 178-190 LUX against 250 LUX, relative humidity level is 24-63 % against 40-60%, and temperature is 19-33°C against 20-25 °C.
