She was living the country life she always desired and talked about. Then one evening in 1992 this man walked into her life. He told her how he felt about her and wanted a chance with her. De'Lois was reluctant because of the age difference, but decided age had nothing to do with love.
They were married February 14, 1993, De'Lois was looking forward to enjoying a life with her new husband. Too bad things didn't happen that way. Before the honeymoon was over, De'Lois discovered Roger had a serious problem with alcohol. Roger began lying, cheating, and staying out all night. Not only did Roger's actions cause heartache and pain, but shook the very foundation of the marriage and their home. Too add more fire to the furnace De'Lois had to quit work due to back problems causing financial difficulties. De'Lois refused to let go because she realized Jesus had plans for her and Roger.
