O knihe
We have synthesized various kinds of metal oxides/sulphides such as molybdenum oxide, molybdenum sulphide, zinc oxide, vanadium oxide nanorings/nanowires/nanofibers via low temperature hydrothermal or solvothermal method. Among the existing technologies hydrothermal/solvothermal method offers many benefits, including a high degree of chemicalhomogeneity achieved on the molecular scale, use of mild temperatures and pressures, production of nanocrystalline powders in a single step, and elimination of high-temperature calcinations. A wide range of crystalline, single and multicomponent oxide materials can be produced by this method. In this method, it is possible to synthesise transition metal compounds with unusual oxidation states, low-temperature phases, and metastable compounds . The effect of temperature, concentration, duration, role of surfactants, solvents etc. has been studied to know the detailed study on the structure and morphology of the synthesized product. The obtained product has been characterized using X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, Raman spectroscopy, XPS, optical properties by UV-Vis and Photoluminescence spectroscopy and morphology by SEM/TEM attached with EDAX.
