Carboxy phenyl (meth) acrylates and carboxy phenyl (meth) acrylamides, are distinct class of functional polymers which finds variety of applications as specialty of the polymers, because the aromatic phenyl ring can be modified by well known substitution reactions which gives wide scope for synthesizing tailor - made polymers.
