On the other hand, the family Solanaceae includes plants like Atropa, Hyoscymus, Withania, Capsicum, and Nicotiana. Tomatoes are connected to the plant known as atropa. It consists of over 2,700 species organised into 98 different genera. It is a genus of flowering plants that includes annual and perennial herbs, as well as vines, shrubs, and trees, and it can be found practically anywhere on the planet with the exception of Antarctica.
