O knihe
The management of stereotypes is the monitoring and guidance for an intervention that allows the replacement of a motor behavior by another that is desired and socially accepted. The term stereotype comes from the Greek steros, which means solid, typos, model. This work is accurate and requires dexterity due to the sensitive nature of the situation involving the child with Autism Spectrum Disorder - TEA/Autism and its specific forms of self-regulation, through these movements and the way these children act to regulate themselves and discharge tension. There is no apparent function in these stereotyped and repetitive movements. It can be said, then, that the said repetition, insistence and perseverance in the movements should not be extinguished but replaced for an action that also has the same regulatory result as the previous one, however without social prejudice. The cause of the stereotyped and repetitive movements is also related to stress, anxiety and irritability.
