O knihe
The region of Falcón (western state of Venezuela) has always been a privileged place for artistic and literary production. When magazines and literary groups were still very incipient in the country (almost all of them concentrated in the capital), there were already magazines and groups in Coro that published novels and poems by authors from the state. For this reason, this paper attempts to review the poetry written in the region of Falcon, from the sixties to the present, since it is of interest to demonstrate the value and importance of a poetry, which since the beginning of Venezuelan literature has had outstanding representatives. Singularly, three voices construct their discourses from the complex situation of Latin America in the sixties, and from the Venezuela of this historical moment, each one of them explores and lives different literary processes in which sometimes lines of connection are noticed: Hugo Fernández Oviol (1927-2007), Rafael José Álvarez (1938-2004) and Lydda Franco Farías (1943-2004), begin to publish in the bosom of a society marked by certain social, economic, literary, artistic and political processes.
