I have to try to secure an alliance with him through a relationship in order to strengthen our kingdom. I just don't realize what a challenge this will be when angst and heartache are thrown my way. Marius is surrounded by venomous people, and he himself is arrogant and vile. What I don't expect is meeting Felix, and then Irik. These two men stir something inside of me that I don't understand. I'm unable to stay away from both of these men despite her mission. My duty weighs on my heart, but these men lift the burden. When anarchy rains down around me, sides are chosen. Lines are drawn. And the fate of my future and my descendants are forever sealed. While this is a prequel, it fits into an existing series after book one. These characters are totally independent, however you might miss some explanation about the world of Naesala that would have been previously explained. This will be an MMF story, where all of the main characters will enter into a relationship with each other.
