A week after the ships arrival Mitch decides to make a surprise visit to meet Genevieve while the ladies are having lunch poolside at a private club; bringing along Commander Trevor Lyons as his accomplice in this breech of the rules of etiquette, but is forgiven on the spot because Genevieve is immediately attracted to the unusually handsome commander. Then in the blink of an eye the life she has been living abruptly ends. It becomes a blur of the unexpected with physical interludes that eventually cross the lines of propriety.
