O knihe
Where does the notion of law and morality originate? In eternal or universal law, natural law theories and divine law, or human laws. To be human is to be moral whatever your race, colour, creed, religion or economic status. Do we follow the law because we believe it is reasonable or morally correct, for economic benefit, or both? The term moral is used here not in the narrow religious sense but in a broader view as meaning a sense of right or wrong. As we become more diverse in our ethnic backgrounds, do we have any common values? At one time natural law was predominant and now it is not. I researched a new issue of law and morality and law and economics and did this by following the legal studies approach to the study of law. I believe there is a convergence between law and morality and law and economics as our sense of morality guides or allows us to follow or break the law, and it is to our economic benefit or out of necessity we do so as people will do what is most necessary to them at any given moment.
