As she works on her master's degree, she's in debt and trying to get ahead. She ends up working with at-risk youth, but soon recognizes the flaws in the system. She wonders about the long-term effects of medications and comes up with a solution of her own: Charity Academy, which would empower and create generational change, eliminating mental health risk factors for future generations.
Author Bio: Kristi Whitehill has been writing ever since she can remember. A community college instructor, Whitehill graduated cum laude from Wayne State University. Her goal is to start her own Charity Academy. Whitehill's two children were born on a Native American reservation in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Her husband is a police officer. The family now lives in LaGrange, Kentucky.
