The ADLC is the referee of the competitive game. It intervenes to ensure that the game runs smoothly, a priori by sanctioning prohibited actions. Since the adoption of the LME, France has succeeded in modernizing competition regulation. Doctrine is now a crucial necessity for market players, insofar as it allows the Authority to go beyond its educational mission and adopt a very proactive regulatory approach.
