Small town real estate salesman William Stirling finds his rural life thrown into chaos when a 400-year old scheme to take over the world is delivered to his office. This "scheme" is a manuscript that was written by a disgruntled band of rogue Conquistadors who were banished for treason. These same men turned to the Vatican to buy "god-like status" but were refused and excommunicated. While in exile, they drafted a formula for a new world order and learned how to program human thoughts and manipulate them so that they could have ultimate power. Gordon Collis is a correctional officer in a protection gaol whose motto is "we face what you fear." He resides in Coolamon, Australia, a small, rural town between Sydney and Melbourne.
