O knihe

Ethiopia's history has, however, been important for the critical understanding of modern global relations and paradigms such as the evolution of the concepts of international lobby of postwar reconstruction, boundary disputes, and international socialist and liberalization reforms. Also of significance is the emergence of modern African Diaspora intellectual and political traditions, as Ethiopia's influence waned in European courts-and its autonomy became progressively undermined by the latter's political and economic imperatives-a transnational black Canon responded with a broad-based critical analysis of racial and economic imperialism. The black nationalists celebrated Ethiopian civilization and independence from both a religious humanist perspective and secular within essentially and interracial configurations, and from structuralist and humanist frameworks. However, both the colonial inflected narratives and the nationalist historiographer failed to fully appreciate the complexity of the Ethiopian modernist project. Many of the post-World War 2 narratives have underscored these shortcomings even when they still bear the burden of the Cold War analytical paradigms.
