The New Evangelization in the face of NICTs

This reflection was born at the end of our reading of the Lineamenta of the 2012 Synod of Bishops on the New Evangelization, and as a result of the Theology and Pastoral Care of the Media course taken as part of our theological curriculum. In addition, some deepening readings allowed us to understand that if the God of the Christian faith, who is Trinity and relationship, chose to reveal himself to man by conversing with him as with a friend (DV, no. 2), the theological enterprise of today and more precisely, In the context of the third millennium, during which the New Evangelization is placed at the center of the Church's exchanges, cannot do without a good reflection on the proclamation of the Gospel without making reference to the NICTs which are creators of culture, but also a world to be evangelized: "The best website will be able to arouse curiosity, to bring questioning (and that is already a lot) but it will not be enough to lead to the person of Christ" (D.
